Courtney Coulson

Courtney Coulson is a freelance artist from Perth, Western Australia. While costume making is his main passion, he is interested in art of all varieties. Painting, drawing, writing, sculpting, modeling and even podcasting.

He has studied costume design at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and since then has made costumes for theatre, drag shows, cosplayers and weddings.

Courtney has a few on-going personal art projects that you can learn more about on this site. One is Cosplay Couture in which he takes characters from pop-culture and gives them a fashion redesign that he constructs and models himself.

​

The other project is Doctor Travian's Supernatural Orphanage, which is a Gothic horror story as well as a series of customised dolls.
